Palermo have confirmed Chelsea are still pursuing Javier Pastore but the Blues are facing competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid for the midfielder.Javier Pastore was named the 2010 Serie A Young Player of the Year.
Palermo wants €50m for the midfielder Javier Pastore.
Chelsea are keen to add a creative force to their squad, with Tottenham's Luka Modric another target, and Argentina star Javier Pastore has been catching the eye.
At 22, Pastore is deemed to be the right choice for Chelsea and Palermo are aware of the curiosity.
"Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona want Pastore," Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini told Radio Radio TV. "I told his agent to see what market there is for the player and he has probably spoken to some clubs.
"At the end of the week we will meet to shed a bit of light on the future of the player."
