Modric is almost sure to remain at Tottenham Hotspur until the end of season. Although Modric, who had shown his interest to join Chelsea in the summer, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy remained firm in his refusal to sell the Croatian midfielder. Tottenham manager said that the club would offer Modric a new contract on considerably improved terms, but no deal has yet been signed. Recent reports have suggested Club could offer a £100,000-a-week deal to stop Modric at White Hart Lane.
