Liverpool are in the third round of FA Cup after beating Oldham Athletic 5-1. Captain Steven Gerrard score on his first start since October, Gerrard scored the goal in penalty at 45’which put his side into lead.
After three substitute appearances following improvement from an ankle infection the 31-year-old finally reclaimed his place in the team.
