Tottenham Hotspur 2 – 0 Everton
Tottenham had leveled their points with second-place Manchester United after claiming victory over Everton, and now they could see title in their hands this season. With this win over Everton Tottenham moved closer to Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Tottenham had played tremendously well this season and they well deserve this place. They are looking dangerous for both United’s as, they are now level with Manchester United and within three points of leaders Manchester City.
Indeed, Spurs have a real chance of cracking the Manchester clubs' grip on the league this weekend when they will move joint top if they beat Wolves, with City not playing until Monday.
