Former Manchester United midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron says he expects to retire from professional football.
37-year-old Veron has been plagued by injuries in recent months, forcing him to compromise that his time in the game is coming to an end.
"It is not necessary for me to play, I am no longer needed. After that all of us have bad games and in this championship El Chino has had a lot of good ones."
Ole reports Veron will play in Estudiantes' home clash against Velez Sarsfield before retiring prior to the club's match against Godoy Cruz on May 13.
