FC Parma have revealed that they have dumped their attempts to sign Inter Milan defender Matias Silvestre.
The 28-year-old Argentina centre-back had been heavly linked with a move to Parma this summer, rumours that raised after he was omitted from Inter's summer training camp.
But club executive Pietro Leonardi has claimed that the interest in Silvestre is extinguished due to the player's silence about the move.
Leonardi said, "Parma have waited for him many times"."But we only sign players with enthusiasm and for this reason we decided not to continue negotiating with the player."
