How long can ManU hold discontented De Gea at Old Trafford?

The 26-year-old Goalkeeper is reportedly unhappy in Manchester United and wants a return to Spain. The Laliga current top runner Real Madrid who is pursing De Gea since last summer is known to table a high bid for the Goalkeeper this year too.

De Gea has been a top priority for Real Madrid and the player himself has privately told his friends that he wants to join Real Madrid, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda.

David De Gea

He said: "The player wants to play in Madrid anyway.

"The player has privately said that he wants to play for Real Madrid."

"Real Madrid are still thinking about one goalkeeper, who is De Gea, but (Jose) Mourinho is determined for him not to leave United. The player wants to play in Madrid anyway. What happened was that the agent of Keylor Navas delayed his move to United and there was no way to close the operation in 2014," Inda told El Chiringuito.

"De Gea believes that Manchester is hell because every day is black. The player has privately said that he wants to play for Real Madrid. Last summer he could not come for the dirty campaign against him and against Iker Muniain. It was unfair, disgusting."

Inda says that the clause of De Gea "to leave Manchester United is now €70 million and if Real Madrid wants, it will be paid this summer.

"They are talking to him at all times."

Liverpool signed Lallana from Southampton in £25m in summer 2014 and has two years left on his contract.

The 28-year-old has become an important player for the Reds’ army under Jurgen Klopp, making 27 appearances and scoring seven goals this season with seven assists.

The Sun reckons Lallana is on the verge of signing a £150,000 per week deal that will keep him at Anfield for four years. That means the total package on the table for the midfielder is an eye-watering £31.2m in total, which puts him on a par with the biggest earners at Liverpool.

The England international has been in blistering form for Jurgen Klopp this season and it’s clear to see why the club is so keen on securing his services for another four years.

Martin Caceres

Southampton is all set to complete a free transfer move for former Juventus and Barcelona defender Martin Caceres. With this transfer they are believed to solve their EFL Cup final crisis.

It is very interesting to note that the 29-year-old Uruguayan, who has won titles in Spain and Italy has not played in a competitive match for a year after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon last February. Despite that he attracted interest from Sunderland and Crystal Palace too.

According to skysports Caceres, who has 68 caps for his country, left Juventus in the summer and can join Saints as a free agent.

He will provide cover after Virgil van Dijk was ruled out for up to three months with an ankle problem and Jose Fonte left for West Ham.

It is understood that Caceres will complete £100,000-a-week deal after receiving a work permit and passing a medical with Southampton.
