Chelsea 3 - 0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Men in blue returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 win over Wolves to relieve the pressure on manager Andre Villas-Boas.
After the recent losses against Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen had built the pressure on the Blues boss of 34 years, but the tension eased at Stamford Bridge in the sixth minute of play when John Terry put the ball crossed by Juan Mata in the Net.
Daniel Sturridge slipped his marker to draw in Mata cross just before the half hour, and the Spaniard added the third in the final minute of the first half when he had plenty of space to convert Ashley Cole Center from 12 yards.
