Men in lue back on winning track with a much-needed 3-0 victory over Newcastle United and got to fourth place in Premier league, With this Chelsea is now well in the race for Title.
Didier Drogba scored his third goal of the season at 38’ and gave the lead over Newcastle after Frank Lampard penalty kick was denied by woodwork at 14’. Salomon Kalou and Daniel Sturridge confirmed the victory after scoring late goal at 89' and 90’.
This win has come as a relief to Villas-Boas, who had seen his side lose three of their last four games and now well in race for Title. While Alan Pardew could once again be proud of a team which started the game without Cheik Tiote and Leon Best and lost central defenders Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor before the end of it.
