According to reports in France PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is plotting a move for Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole.
Ancelotti had a good relation with Cole during his resign as Stamford Bridge coach and PSG may be one of the few clubs in European football who could fund what would be a huge investment in a 31-year-old defender.
Cole does not look set to be offered the extended new contract at Chelsea, along with rumours that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is unwilling to hand extended contracts to his senior players. That news has reportedly alerted big-spending PSG to the possible availability of the 2012 Champions League winner.
