Recovered from hamstring injury, 25 year old Manchester City's top scorer Sergio Aguero is all set to be the part of Sunday’s Capital One Cup final against Sunderland.
Aguero sustained a hamstring injury just before half-time in a 5-1 win at Tottenham on January 29. Absence of injured Jovetic and Nastasic from the squad will make his presence more important in the Wimbley final. Manager Manuel Pellegrini understands the importance of his presence very well. Pellegrini said, “Jovetic and Nastasic are both injured.They cannot be there on Sunday. All the rest of the squad are OK apart from (third-choice goalkeeper) Richard Wright, who has a problem with his knee.” In such scenario, Aguero seems to play the key role in the upcoming match.
