Liverpool on their way to clinch the League title

Liverpool takes a huge step towards premier league title after giving 3-2 defeat to Man city at Anfield. Raheem Sterling and Martin Skrtel strikes hold Liverpool 2-0 up before half time. But David Silva shot at 56th minute for Man city and an own Goal by Glen Johnson (Liverpool) equalizes the score. The Brazilion midfielder Philippe Coutinho made the winning strike after a mistake by City’s captain Vincent Kompany in 77th minute of the game. The Liverpool captain was almost in tears after the final whistle sounded.

Gerrard said, "It was emotional, very emotional, but we need to keep calm. There are still four big games to come but that meant so much. They got back into the game and you fear the worst at that point, but I think today we showed that we are going to go to the wire. We are going to go all the way.
