Ramires receives four match ban by FA

Chelsea midfielder Ramires will be banned for four games after holding a charge of violent conduct following an off-the-ball incident during the 2-1 loss to Sunderland.
The Brazil international elbowed Sebastian Larsson towards the end of the first half at Stamford Bridge, a few moments after the Sunderland midfielder had barged him off the ball in front of goal.
The incident was not seen by match officials but was later reviewed by a panel of former referees, and Ramires will now Miss Chelsea's remaining Premier League matches i.e.  Against Liverpool, Norwich and Cardiff - as well as their first game of next season.
However, after being charged by the Football Association on Wednesday, Ramires has accepted he was in the wrong and will now face a domestic suspension.

An official FA statement released on Thursday reads, “Chelsea midfielder Ramires has accepted a charge of violent conduct following an off-the-ball incident that was not seen by the match officials but caught on video,” “The incident occurred during Chelsea’s Premier League fixture against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge on Saturday April 19."
“Ramires receives a four match ban which will start with immediate effect.
“The ban includes three games for this offence plus an additional game for his sending off at Villa Park last month.”
