Crystal Palace slammed the doors of league Title for Liverpool

Liverpool who is at the top of the Premier League table got a dent in their Title hopes after a historic draw at Selhurst Park. Liverpool have 3-0 lead and looked in a comfortable position to win over crystal palace until 79th minute, when the game was flipped on its head completely. Crystal Palace completely wrecked Liverpool by scoring three goals in 10 minutes and earned a spectacular 3-3 draw. When victory seemed assured for Liverpool, almost certainly ended their hopes of a first title for 24 years. Although they returned to top spot with 81 points but have only one match to play while Manchester City have 80 points with two matches to play. City will host Aston Villa and west Ham united while Liverpool’s remaining game is at home to Newcastle united. Liverpool players slumped to the ground in despair at the end of the game with Suarez and others in tears as they left the field.

Brendan Rodgers accepted that their challenge was over and said, “The title race is over now, Manchester City will go on and win it. We had to win this match tonight to keep the pressure on City. I think they will go on and win the two games and be champions.”
