Germany crunched Portugal with a 4-0 victory

Today’s match was a unexpected experience for Portugal as they tasted 4-0 defeat from Germany. Germany was in full possession from the beginning of the game. Muller the man of the match opened for Germany with a penalty that was awarded after Mario Goetze (Germany) was hauled back by Joao Pereira (Portugal). Germany doubles their lead at 31st minute of the game when hummels’ strong header converted the corner from the edge of six-yard box.
A hard dismissal of pepe (Portugal) after doing a rough head strike against muller (Germany) with refree showing red card at 39th minute make Portugal weak to weaker. After that Muller made another strike just before half time when Bruno Alves attempted to clear a cross from deep and the ball broke very kindly for him.


Cristiano Ronaldo won a free-kick at his best spot at 58th minute but fails to break the German wall. In this gloomy day of Portugal Fabio Coentrao got a muscle pull while stretching to keep the ball in play. He leaves the field on a stretcher, with his hands covering his face. Muller made his hat-trick at 78th minute when Andre Schurrle crossed from the right and Rui Patricio weak touch escaped the ball on Muller feet and he made an easy strike. The score remained 4-0 at the end of full time and give Portugal an unexpected defeat.
