Victor Valdes all set to sign Manchester United

Victor Valdes has been a free agent since leaving the La Liga giant Barcelona, whom he served his entire career. The Spanish goalkeeper has been training with United for three months in order to help him recover from a serious knee injury.

Before last season started, Valdes confirmed it would be his final one at the Nou Camp, but his campaign ended in March when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament, an injury that kept him out of the World Cup.

News posted by skysports claims that United will now sign the 32-year-old Spanish World Cup winner to provide competition for first choice David de Gea.

Talking of Valdes record book he won six La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues and also lifted the Copa del Rey on two times before leaving Nou Camp.
