The second-half dismissal of Willian for two yellow cards made Chelsea weak. Fabian Delph scored in the 82nd minute to secure all three points for Aston Villa.
After 1-0 defeat from Villa,Chelsea is in danger of being overtaken by Manchester City, who has secured a 2-0 win against Hull City to go second in the Premier League just six points behind Chelsea with three games in hand.
