Chelsea is targeting to sign Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid in the summer. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has told the club that signing a world class striker should be the priority during the summer transfer window.
Diego Costa is Brazil-born Spain striker who is playing for Atletico Madrid. In this season of La Liga he scored 21 goals in 26 matches and establishing himself as one of the best forwards in Europe. Costa is doing well for himself in the Spanish capital, but it seems only a matter of time before the Spanish international decides it's time to move on to bigger and better things. On the counter part Jose Mourinho is looking for a new striker for the summer transfer window.
Mourinho despite of being linked to Luis Suarez, Gonzalo Higuain, Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao told Chelsea that Costa is the man he wants. Chelsea is thinking of booking Costa with £27million, an amount below his release clause but a fee that could be accepted if the player pushes for a switch away.
