Alen Halilovic is a Croatian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Dinamo Zagreb in the Prva HNL. He is the first division's youngest ever goalscorer and also the youngest ever debutant for the Croatian national team. The 17-year-old Alen Halilovic signed a five year contract with Barcelona for which Barcelona has to pay a 2.2 million euro fee to Dinamo. The fee will increase as the player achieves the objectives of consolidating a position in the first team. Left-footed attacking midfielder Halilovic made his first team debut at the age of 16. He also got his first Champions League experience on October 24, 2012 in a 2-0 defeat at home to PSG in the group stage.

"Barcelona is something special, a club I have loved since I was a child and I am honoured by the opportunity." He became Croatia's youngest player in June 2013 and is the youngest goalscorer in the Croatian first division.
