Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo has carved his name into Real’s record books once gain after he equalled the goal-scoring count of Real Madrid legend Ferenc Puskas. He scored twice in the second leg of Champions League last-16 tie against Schalke to etch his name into the record books yet again.Ronaldo equaled the count of 242 goals in only 5 years journey with Real, three years less than Puskas (8).
Ronaldo's continued efforts in front of goal mean he retains the record of being the only Madrid player to average more than a goal a game.The Portugal international's next strike will move him into fourth place in the club's all-time top goalscorers list, with only Santillana (290), Alfredo di Stefano (307) and Raul (323) ahead of him.
