Inter Milan preparing a move for Petr Cech

José Mourinho is ready to reward Petr Cech’s 11 years of loyalty by letting him pick where he wants to move

Petr Cech

The long-serving Chelsea keeper has lost his position to Thibaut Courtois this season and is unhappy sitting in stands only watching the game. He posted his assent to move away from Chelsea by saying, “I’m used to playing 50 or 60 games a season, not 15 or 20. That’s a big difference. I don’t know what the club’s idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo. But that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like this.”

Arsenal and Inter Milan both have maintained an interest in the 32 year old Czech international. However a recent report claimed the Premier League leaders had no intention of offloading Chech to the Gunners.

News posted by The Metro claims Inter have grown frustration with their current keeper Samir Handanovic’s over a new deal at the San Siro and have decided to pursue Cech.

Chelsea is looking for £10million for the veteran keeper who is having a year remaining on his current deal.
