Chelsea made a move to bring Yoshinori Muto at Stamford Bridge

Yoshinori Muto is a Japanese football forward who currently plays for FC Tokyo in the J. League Division 1. Recent speculations have stated Chelsea made a move to sing Yoshinori Muto.

Muto scored scored 13 times last season and was named in the league's select XI, played for Japan during their run to the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup. He has been capped 11 times and scored three times in four games at the start of the new J-League season.

Chelsea has put in a bid for Muto for a fee reported to be in the £4 million region. Japanese news agency Kyodo News says the japenese player is yet to decide whether to play at Stamford Bridge in the summer or not.

"It is true that Chelsea sent us an offer for Muto," Ogane chelsea president told Sports Nippon.
"It is a formal offer with conditions. They want to acquire him in the summer."

Muto has shown his gratitude towards Chelsea offer by saying, "I have not decided yet at all. It is an honour for me to receive this offer from a great club."
