Griezmann and Digne in, Nasri and Clichy out for france upcoming match with Netherlands

France Coach Didier Deschamps called up forward Antoine Griezmann and Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne for the friendly match with Netherlands on March 5.  After Griezemann’s dazzling performance in the Spanish league by scoring 15 goals, it was an expected inclusion. Deschamps said, "He can play on both wings and up front. He's a player who is technically sound in everything he does. That's why I called him up." Aspired to live up to the expectations of Deschamps, Griezmann wrote on his Twitter account, "Happy to be in the squad. It's just the beginning. Digne has played only nine league games this season, but Deschamps having faith on his calibre and he said, "He's a young player with a strong potential. So it was the right time for me to call him up." Though Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy were axed from the squad the speculations are not over for the final squad of the world cup as Deshamps said, “This squad list is how I see it today. The final list will be named on June 2.”

Defenders: Mathieu Debuchy, Lucas Digne, Patrice Evra , Laurent Koscielny, Eliaquim Mangala , Bacary Sagna, Mamadou Sakho and Raphael Varane .
Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye, Clement Grenier , Blaise Matuidi , Rio Mavuba , Paul Pogba  and Moussa Sissoko.
Forwards: Karim Benzema, Olivier Giroud, Antoine Griezmann, Dimitri Payet, Loic Remy, Franck Ribery and Mathieu Valbuena .
