Manchester City ends the Premier League Title race

Man City clinched second Premier League title in three seasons with a 2-0 win over West Ham United on Sunday at Etihad. Although City needed a draw to win the trophy but they showed much more entertainment than that for their fans. Samir Nasri put City ahead in 39th minute and Captain Vincent Kompany’s neat finish four minute after halftime gave them an excellent win and condemned Liverpool to second place. The title win turns out to be a superb debut season for City’s manager Manuel Pellegrini and he became the first non-European to guide a team to the English title.

Pellegrini in his words said, "My first year is not easy to get used to English football but I think I managed a great group of players.
"But big teams cannot be satisfied with one title. It's very important. Celebrate, today, tomorrow and Monday and on Tuesday start working for next season because this club and players deserve more titles."

Nasri in expression of his joy said, “It’s an amazing feeling. My second title in three years. It was an amazing league the whole year. There are no words to explain my feeling now."
