Radamel Falcao all set to sign Chelsea

Radamel Falcao is a Colombian professional footballer who plays for French club Monaco and the Colombia national team as a striker.

Last season Manchester United consented to sign Falcao on loan for £6 million from Monaco with an alternative to sign him permanently for £43.5 million toward the end. The agreement saw him gain £265,000-a-week at the club.

His future at United was put under uncertainty when his agent, Jorge Mendes, expressed toward the begin of the year that his client "may not be at Old Trafford at the start of next season but will play in one of the very best clubs in the world."

Manchester United declared their choice to not practice their purchase alternative on Falcao on 24 May 2015, quitting his spell at the club in which he scored four goals in 29 appearances.

With this news Chelsea bose José Mourinho and Man city’s manager Manuel Pellegrini started chasing for the Colombian international.

News reported by The Mirror claims that The hold up to find who will be replacing Didier Drogba at Chelsea is over, with Radamel Falcao has agreed to personal terms with the Blues.

Jose Mourinho's side wants to take the striker on loan for a year with no fixed deal at the end of the season, although Monaco want to see a permanent agreement.
