Andre Villas-Boas:confirm interest in £83m Hulk


Andre Villas-Boas eyed on Porto striker Hulk, Brazil international Hulk who worked under Villas-Boas at Porto last season and the pair proved a successful partnership.
Hulk will be the best option for Chelsea as Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou poised to exit when their contracts expire at the end of the current campaign
"We have Kalou and Malouda, both of whom are nearing the end of their contracts, while Juan Mata and Daniel Sturridge are the future," Villas-Boas told Portuguese radio station TSF. 
"As such, there will surely be a place to fill and I see room for an explosive player on the wing, someone who is strong in one-on-one situations and Hulk fits that profile."

Manchester United Nani: says I am not at my best


Manchester United Nani thinks that he still has plenty of work to do to reach his top level again.
Nani, 25, who had made his comeback after almost a month sitting on bench with a foot injury against Ajax last week, and completed the full 90 minutes at Old Trafford.
However, yet the Portugal international feels he is still some way short of his play. ''It has been difficult to get the consistency,'' he said. ''I am getting there but I need more minutes.
''I will work hard to come back because we need every player. Just now I am not at my best but I will try to recover my form as quickly as possible."

Finally Carlos Tevez has apologised for his behavior

Carlos Tevez has apologised for his behavior, refusal to warm up in Manchester City's Champions League tie at Bayern Munich.
With this apology from Tevez side now there is a chance that may be he would be allowed back into his first team squad. As Manager Roberto Mancini had always stated there was no chance Tevez would be permitted back into his first team squad without an apology.
Tevez said: "I wish to apologise sincerely and unreservedly to everybody I have let down and to whom my actions over the last few months have caused offence."My wish is to concentrate on playing football for Manchester City Football Club.''

Leandro Damiao: Says Spurs have already made a bid to sign him


Leandro Damiao, 22, has claimed that Spurs have already made a bid to sign him in the summer. Damiao has been linked with several clubs during the past two transfer windows.
Paris St Germain has also shown their interest in the Brazilian Striker in recent weeks, but Damiao denied receiving any offer from the PSG.
He said, "I am not aware of anything for an offer from Paris SG. I have had no contact with PSG or [sporting director] Leonardo," Damiao told Telefoot. "For now, I think about my club and the Copa Libertadores. In July, if a proposal comes, it will be discussed. "All that I know is that Tottenham have made an offer." 

West Ham:Had made moves to sign Carlos Tevez and Fernando Torres

West Ham admitted that club had made moves to sign Carlos Tevez from Manchester City and Fernando Torres from Chelsea during the January transfer window.
£50 million Man Fernando Torres has struggled to regain his form this season, scoring just four goals during the current campaign and Argentinean who failed to sort his differences with manager Roberto Mancini.
But still both the clubs were not willing to negotiate terms for the out-of-favour strikers.
"We tried to get Torres from Chelsea," Sullivan told West Ham Till I Die. "Well if he couldn't score in the Premier League, come along with us for a month. We might fire him up. They just said 'not at this moment in time'.
"Three times we asked [about signing Tevez]. Three times they said 'no chance'."
Sullivan's co-owner David Gold later confirmed the Hammers were seeking to sign Torres on a "short-term loan".

Ibrahimovic: Robin van Persie should leave the Arsenal


After beating the Gunners 4-0 AC Milan's striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has suggested Robin van Persie should leave the Arsenal. Van Persie who’s contract at the Emirates will be over at the end of next season and is reportedly linked with clubs such as Barcelona and Manchester City, Ibrahimovic has encouraged van Persie to seek a new career.
"When you don't win anything for years, people understand why you leave like Cesc Fabregas," Ibrahimovic told The Sun. "Football is all about winning. If you don't win you want to go. 
"I don't know Robin personally but I remember him from Holland and what a talent he was - now he is complete. I don't know what he is thinking but I know what I would do. 
"I have made a lot of moves in my life - I take it as a challenge, an adventure. And I have won eight titles in eight years with different clubs in different countries. 
"But if you stay in one place all your life it is easy to play football. You are at home, you are in the comfort zone. But if you move to five different places it is a real test. If you succeed that's when you become a real champion, that's when you get more respect."

Lukas Podolski indicated that he will quit the club


Lukas Podolski again in the light as he indicated that he will quit the club at the end of the season.
Lukas Podolski, 26, will move into the final year of his contract this summer, meaning there will be chance for the clubs to negotiate a cut-price deal.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had a Hawk eye on Cologne striker Lukas Podolski, who is a known admirer of Podolski and was linked with making a bid in the January window.

Chelsea: Ashley Cole picked up a calf injury


Another injury blow for the Men in Blue, as defender Ashley Cole picked up a calf injury and will be on bench for months as expected. But there is good news for Chelsea, Chelsea skipper John Terry is looking good to return for Saturday's FA Cup fifth-round tie with Birmingham.
Chelsea said on their website: "John Terry took part in today's training session for the first 30 minutes and then continued work in the gym. He'll be looking to increase his workload on a daily basis."

Dimitar Berbatov :said he is "not happy"


Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov speaks on his dropping from playing 11, Berbatov said  he is "not happy" with his bit-part role at the club. Berbatov, 31, had played just five Premier League matches this season and was prominently left out of the United squad.

Berbatov said "I am a Manchester United player, but I do not currently play in as many games as I want. I'm not happy that I do not play," Berbatov told Bulgarian sports website sportal.bg. " But I cannot blame anyone, especially in the media.
"When I have something to say, I go and talk face to face with the manager. He decides everything. . I do not know how long I will stay at Manchester United.''
"To my knowledge, the clause to extend my contract for another year is automatically activated in March. I know nothing more.''

Ryan Giggs: has signed a one-year contract at Manchester United


Ryan Giggs 38 who made his first appearance for Manchester United in 1991 has signed a one-year contract at Old Trafford. Giggs will continue to serve the club one more year and is into a 23rd campaign for the club.
Sir Ferguson believes that Giggs is a booster for the club and still has ample more to contribute to the club.


"Ryan is a marvellous player," Ferguson said. "In many ways, he epitomises all my teams here at United; he has constantly re-invented himself, adapted to the changing nature of the game and retained that desire and hunger for success."In every training session and match, he is the example for others to follow. Barcelona sent Valencia home in the 2nd leg of Copa del Rey semi-final


After playing draw in the 1st leg of Copa del Rey semi-final, Barcelona sent Valencia home in the 2nd leg winning 2-0. Goal from Cesc Fabregas and Xavi booked the berth for Barcelona to the Copa del Rey final at the expense of ten-man Valencia. Now they’ll face Athletic Bilbao in the final, Club completed an 8-3 aggregate win over Mirandes on Tuesday night.


Luis Suarez: Is all set for the Match against Manchester United

Liverpool Forward Luis Suarez is all set to play in the big clash against Manchester United and face any kind of welcome at Old Trafford. Chelsea vs Manchester United : Javier Hernandez did it for the Visitors


As expected the match between the Chelsea and Manchester United was a big clash but the result is quiet shocking as both teams had played a draw at Stamford Bridge.

After seeing the First half the game looks very much in the Chelsea’s hand as Manu were 2-0 down. In the second half David Luiz (50') scored a goal for Chelsea and gave them a healthy lead, after this luck turns toward visitors as referee Howard Webb gave them a lifeline by awarding two soft spot-kicks-both scored by Wayne Rooney. Javier Hernandez  was the man who leveled the score for Manchester United 3-3 just before the stoppage time. It was a shocking result for Chelsea as well as for their manager AVB.

Bob Bradley: Have no Plan For Future as Egypt coach


After the brutality which claimed 74 lives during an Egyptian league game between El-Masry and El-Ahly on Wednesday, Bob Bradley says he has no thought for future as Egypt coach.
Bradley, who joined Egypt last September, attended a protest rally in Cairo with his wife on Thursday to show support for the victims of the tragedy in Port Said "I have not thought about this at all today," Bradley told Stad El Ahly. "Our thoughts today are with the families of the victims. We wanted to show respect for the people who lost their lives, for the people who are most affected by this tragedy. Of course, we feel strongly about what we are here to do in Egypt. 
"It's the dream of all the people here to qualify for the World Cup, and we came here to work with the people and work in the federation to try to accomplish this dream. Today is just a sad day that's hard to understand and our thoughts today are just with the families of the victims."

Valencia held Barcelona to a draw in the first leg of the Copa del Rey


Barcelona was held to a draw in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final at the Mestalla as Lionel Messi Failed to score the penalty.
Valencia Goalkeeper Diego Alves denied Messi’s 56th-minute spot kick after Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara had been fouled inside the area.
Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto was lucky not to get the red card when he raced to cut off Roberto Soldado and appeared to touch the ball outside of his area in the 18th minute.

Sir Alex is confident about Manchester United Duo Wayne Rooney and Nani

Stamford Bridge is waiting for the big match between Chelsea and Manchester United on Sunday. Sir Alex Ferguson is confident both Wayne Rooney and Nani will be fit for Sunday's Premier League clash against Chelsea. Both players had an injury which made them sideline against Stoke City, but Sir Alex is sure that both men are fit for the trip to Stamford Bridge. "We're hopeful Wayne Rooney, Nani and possibly Ashley Young will be fit for Sunday," Ferguson told MUTV.

Tough time for Chelsea and Fernando Torres


An own goal from Neil Taylor saved the game and also sixth defeat of the season for Chelsea. Swansea were impressive and looking for another famous win at the Liberty Stadium after a stunning win over Arsenal, but they had to satisfied with a 1-1 draw.

This tells the story that Chelsea is still struggling with their strikers and injury problems, Torres who had not scored a single Goal for Chelsea this year, Captain John Terry is sideline due to a knee injury and  midfielder Ramires who recently got injured in FA cup. So all an all this is a tough time for Blues
